For young people aged 18 to 21 looking at starting a career in scaffolding, High Risk Solutions is hosting an open day.
The purpose of the event is to showcase what is required for the position and have live demonstrations.
David Nunn, the managing director of High Risk Solutions, said the open day is an opportunity to offer five candidates a traineeship in 2022.
“The point of this day is to show our candidates in real-time what they will be exposed to,” Mr Nunn said.
“Our expectations are quite high, as scaffolding is a tough industry.
“But the job is rewarding for the right people.”
Candidates who receive a traineeship offer will be entitled to an entry-level job with long term prospects.
“We have had some really successful kids come through our traineeship programs,”
“We will be looking for people who show initiative and work well in a team.”
High Risk Solutions was first established in 2012 and now has 95 employees spread across three locations, including Gladstone, Rockhampton, and Emerald.
The scaffolding open day is open to people all around the Central Queensland region.
Applicants are required to register for the scaffolding open day, which is to be held on Saturday, 4 December at 46 Handson Road, Gladstone.
